Trinity United Methodist Church: Serving the Milan Illinois area

The United Methodist Motorcycle Association is a group of riders and non-riders who take the church outside the four walls to reach the world.  Members spread God’s love and grace to all, meeting people where they are in life, and offering the message of hope, faith and love.

We are serious about making disciples for Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the world.

We participate in local rides, rallies and other places where bikers may gather. We also do bike blessings and prayers when called upon. We support local motorcycle clubs, associations and groups in charitable rides and gatherings.

History.  Eddie and Patty Gill founded UMMA. Eddie was looking to get Patty out more, as she has MS, and bought a motorcycle, strapped her walker to the bike and the rest is history.  Through their travels they were able to share their love of God.

Recently, the torch has been passed to Lisa Wiedman, who currently serves in the Quad Cities area in NW Illinois.

UMMA is currently in 16 states and focuses on sharing Christ’s love with all they come in contact with.  We are the hands, feet and wheels of Jesus Christ.

2,3 or 4 wheels, all are welcome.  You do not need to be a member of the church to join in this ministry.
